MEET DAMUS

Damus's venture into the business world started with running his own clothing business at the age of 18 while still in college to help pay for his college tuition. This culminated into a sales and leadership position at the top bedding manufacturer in the world upon graduating. Stepping into the corporate world right out of college with cutbacks and lack luster sales Damus was terminated. Going through this experience shifted Damus's perspective and led him to ask the question that many people never ask but Damus knew he must ask the question as it could help him to discover the key to excelling in business and in life.  So Damus asked his boss one of the most uncomfortable questions “why was I fired?”  Damus wasn’t expecting the answer he received his manager responded with saying the company didn't feel compelled he could help take the organization to the next level. This led Damus to go on a journey to find out how he could be compelling, how he could have compelled the organization to keep him as an employee,  and how  he could have compelled his customers to buy more products leading to  increasing sales. Well, through intense research and not accepting defeat Damus eventually was hired by the same company that fired him for the same position he was fired from. Damus later became the top employee within the company. That one simple question shifted his perspective. He began showing up to work with a new approach. Instead of selling he started compelling.  Promotions, various leadership roles, and awards followed quickly as Damus discovered how to be compelling in his personal life and professional career.
